Course details: 1st day – Practicals (Basic dredger operational modules)

2nd day – Tutorials (Procedures for various dredging projects and applications)

3rd day - Tutorials (Safety and Security procedures, dredger handling and maintenance, personal protective equipment, trouble shooting on board dredgers).

Certification: Attendance Certificate given.

Brief Course Description:

The Dredge Master Refresher Course / Basic Dredger Appreciation Course has been designed as a refresher course for workers who have previous work experience on board dredgers. At the same time, it has been designed to equip workers who have been working around dredging projects and environments but have not undergone any serious orientation in the procedures of working on dredgers or operating them. It is hoped that their participation in this course will reinforce correct attitudes of a professional dredge master in those now working in that capacity and for those who are just aspiring to that post, it should give them the added sense of responsibility and managerial aura to perform better in their assigned roles. Above all, their attendance of this course should motivate them for loyalty to the employer and to perform better with less supervision.

For Whom: Dredge masters, sand fill masters, marine engineers, marine engineer assistants, deckhands and similar cadres of staff on field assignments.

Course Fee: N100,000.00 per student.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS CLASS IS NOT LARGE BECAUSE OF THE PRACTICALS. SERIOUS INTENDING STUDENTS ARE ADVISED TO HURRY TO RESERVE THEIR PLACES.
